The Kane County Regional Office of Education serves teachers and administrators with all aspects of their licensure needs. The office provides assistance with licensure applications, renewal/registration, adding endorsements and approvals on existing license(s). The office also helps educators utilize the Educator Licensure Information System (ELIS) through the Illinois State Board of Education
The Regional Office of Education reviews and approves all professional development activities for license renewal.
The ROE hosts and maintains the Kane County Human Resource Consortium online teacher application and vacancy system for all Kane County public school districts with over 14,000 applicants.

The ELIS is a web-based system that allows educators and district administrators access to licensure data from ISBE.
