The mission of The Kane County Juvenile Drug Court is to eliminate the misuse of substances by the non-violent, delinquent offender at home, in school and in the community through intensive court interventions involving supervision and treatment thereby reducing recidivism and enhancing public safety.
The program exists to provide a non-adversarial, strength-based approach to meeting the need of juvenile substance abusers in Kane County.
Substance abuse is a significant issue in the lives of many juveniles in the criminal justice system. By identifying offenders in the need of treatment and providing intensive judicial monitoring and treatment services, the Juvenile Drug Court is committed to providing opportunities for rehabilitation and improved relationships with family, school and community.
The Kane County ROE is proud to be a team member of the Juvenile Drug Court.
